The Dufour 470 among the 10 most beautiful boats of the Genoa Boat Show

The 61st Genoa Boat Show has just finished, and this year too it has been confirmed as an unmissable, unique and fascinating event. Over a thousand boats on display and among these here are the ten most popular.

The Navetta 30 is the new superyacht in the Custom Line displacement range that marries comfort and safety with personalisation and seaworthiness. Her groundbreaking design is bristling with the explosive energy of a true masterpiece, with a paradigm that defines the state of the art on a quest for absolute wellbeing for owner and guests. At 28.43 m long and 7.3 m in the beam, the Navetta 30 is ambitious in size but rides the waves with a gossamer elegance that speaks eloquently of liberty and grace.

The theme of asymmetry experienced by the Sanlorenzo shipyards is brought back on board the SL90A, a luxury yacht under 30 meters, which is the smallest of the range. The asymmetrical configuration allows a layout that includes the owner’s cabin and the main deck saloon at the same level, a solution normally found on larger boats. On board you have a great perception of light and space, as well as great liveability.
The design by Zuccon International Project optimizes spaces in an exceptional way: the configuration of the owner’s cabin on three different levels is very interesting with the downward scanning (going towards the bow) of the bathroom and wardrobe.
SL90A also features ‘One Way’ glazing which, being chromatically similar to the hull externally, dematerialize the perception of voids and reinforce the sense of cleanliness and aesthetic continuity.

Bold and defiant, the Pershing 6X embodies the Pershing predatory spirit, with her taut, agile forms and cutting-edge tech. A blast of power with a 48-knot top speed, she’s primed to run rings around the rest and poke fun at convention.

As soon as you step aboard Amer Yachts’ new flagship, the Amer 120, you are immediately struck by the amount of light that, filtering through the 97 square meters of windows, floods this luxury yacht of 35.64 meters. On board there are also many other measures based on a green perspective, such as the use of wood with 150 years of history coming from colonial houses which is cut into strips by a craftsman to make it suitable as a floor, and the covers of the sockets. air for engines printed in 3d with a bioplastic derived from corn. The interiors are designed by Stefano Tini and organized to accommodate 10 guests.

With a choice of three main deck layouts and a multi-functional zone, the new Azimut 68 is the epitome of a true “world yacht”. The starting point for its design was a comprehensive analysis of all the various ways owners and guests pass their time on board, taking into account variations in lifestyle habits and preferences across different markets. The result is yet more freedom, but this time, the freedom of boat owners to choose the layout that best reflects their idea of how to make the most of their onboard experiences.

When Dufour’s know-how re-invents itself to craft the sailing boat of tomorrow. This results in a 47-footer yacht which is both beautifully designed and high-performance for incredible thrills. The Dufour 470 combines both Dufour’s know-how and the Brand’s desire to innovate. This model, in line with its predecessor, enjoys the yard’s DNA while offering an edge of modernity. Its hull design and the fluidity of its deck layout already make it an iconic sailing boat. Its modernity, its simplicity and its elegance already make it a new “classic”.
Three models in one. Let your instinct do the talking…

IThe project is by Stefano Vafiadis designer and is spread over three decks plus the fly-bridge with an interior configuration that includes the owner’s suite forward of the main deck with private terrace and four guest cabins and a fifth cabin used as a gym area and annex hammam on the lower deck. Dom 133 can accommodate up to 13 people on board; interesting is having set up an elevator on a boat of this size and having used the recurring theme of coral in the interiors, declining it in different ways.

Luxury boat of 20.67 meters in length, as well as the new flagship of the historic Riva di Sarnico shipyard founded in 1842 and which has been part of the Ferretti Group since 2000.
Designed by Mauro Micheli, founder with Sergio Beretta of Officina Italiana Design, Riva 68 ‘Diable is part of the Riva shipyard’s Open collection.
All very elegant, in perfect Riva style.

26 meters long, the boat is built entirely of sandwich and carbon, the deck is in teak. Under the hull, a retractable keel, with a draft of 2.50 m for navigating in shallow water and entering the port by motor; and 4 m for offshore navigation. Mast and boom also in carbon.

Nautor’s Swan presents its Swan Shadow, the first motor boat for the Finnish shipyard, a renowned sailboat builder, at the 61st Boat Show.
Swan Shadow was designed by Jarkko Jämsén and is 13.23 meters long. It is very interesting to see stylistic elements from the world of sailing reinterpreted on a motor boat, such as the telescopic roof pillars reminiscent of the sail mast.
